Can you maim, mangle and mutilate?

Based on the level of activity of your horde, as represented by the RUNE HORDES dot INFO horde listing, and your fighting behavior as observed in the servers, you are hereby officially challenged to participate in the Low Caliber-tournament, Maim! Mangle! Mutilate!, which is scheduled to kick off this coming fall.

Limiting the weaponry available to the participants to the low caliber selection is an attempt at bringing back the genuinely good fights to the game, in contrast to the instagib game play currently corrupting the game.

If you believe your horde to be capable of leaving behind a trail of slaughter, regardless of the tools provided, and is not afraid of venturing out of your comfort zone to face other similarly restricted hordes in combat, head over to the Maim! Mangle! Mutilate! and submit your declaration of war on the other hordes in the community by signing up for participation in the tournament!

Even though we do not agree that the current 'way of playing' is in any way corrupting the game Rune, and with a danger that signing up for that tournament would in fact be agreeing to such a statement...

We can't sit idle around when challenged so finely. So, count us in for that feast of ladies sewing needles and kid sticks
